Peraw is a dress that tells a story.
We discovered this beautiful design during a summer 2025 trip to India together with my sister — and we instantly fell in love. Its colors feel like a blooming Kurdish garden: green leaves, warm gold sunlight, and soft pink flowers.
We named this collection Peraw, inspired by Mount Peraw in Rojhilat Kurdistan.
In Kurdish culture, mountains symbolize protection, dignity, and endurance. Peraw is known for its quiet strength and natural beauty — strong yet gentle, just like the women who wear it. The natural fabrics, soft movement, and calm elegance of this dress reminded us of that mountain landscape, so the name felt meaningful and true.
This piece is more than clothing. It is culture, craftsmanship, and identity.
✨ Material & Craftsmanship
Main fabric: Hand-dyed viscose (natural, breathable fiber)
Embroidery: Mild gold sequin hand dying viscose and machine embroidery
Kras: Black shiny Kras made of Fendi fabric- midnight black soft and shiny looks as velvet , but thin material
Under layer: Soft rayon lining (also breathable and gentle on skin)
Feel: Light, airy and comfortable even for long celebrations
Viscose and rayon are plant-based fibers, which people often choose because the body can breathe and the fabric doesn’t feel heavy like synthetic materials. The dress moves softly with you — elegant but comfortable.
Each dress is carefully sewn in Kurdistan by talented Kurdish women tailors. Every stitch is made by hand with patience, skill and love. By wearing Peraw, you directly support Kurdish women artisans and help preserve an authentic Kurdish traditional dress that deserves to be protected and remembered.

We styled Peraw with a dusty-pink matte shiny kras (inner dress) — but you can create many looks:
• With cream or champagne inner dress → soft bridal style
• With green inner dress → traditional festive look
• With gold inner dress → engagement or wedding guest look

🧵 Care Instructions (Important)
Because this is hand-dyed viscose embroidery, please treat it gently:
Do NOT machine wash
Do NOT tumble dry
Do NOT dry clean with strong chemicals
Recommended care:
• After wearing: hang the dress in fresh air 24 hours
• Store in a breathable garment bag (not plastic)
• If necessary: very gentle hand wash in cold water only
• Use mild silk/wool detergent
• Do not rub embroidery
• Lay flat to dry (never hang when wet)
• Steam from distance instead of ironing directly
This keeps the color, embroidery and shape beautiful for many years.
